Nordic digital banking startup Lunar has raised €46 million (approximately $54.8 million) in a new funding round to accelerate its growth across the Nordic region. Including this round, Lunar has raised €530 million in funding to date, according to the latest funding data from Startup Funding News.
Lunar currently serves over one million users and 40,000 business customers across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, and aims to reach profitability in 2026.
New investor 100A, a London-based fintech investor, led the latest investment round, with participation from existing shareholders Heartland and Orbit Alliance in the round, signaling continued confidence in Lunar’s long-term business plans.
Lunar is a 100% digital bank with no physical branches. The fintech startup plans to use fresh funds to scale up its growing banking business, mainly in Norway and Finland.
